Starting August
Starting August
I continue to dabble at many things. My goal is to refine my work this year and hopefully as more years come. To pay attention to the little details, the finishings, the refinement of stitches. I am also working through all my unfinished projects. I think they clutter your psyche after a while. Lost creativity - or stalled creativity. Tidying them up I am hoping will give me completion and open the space for more creativity. I just finished two sweaters, one that went on my needles a decade ago. My 'works in progress' are many - a pair of socks, the yarn which I dyed as sock blanks about 3 years ago. A cowl. A shawl. Norwegian mittens. Bins of fibre for spinning up lovely yarn ( I am currently working on a silk/merino blend). Stitching tumeric dyed linen squares for a piece that is yet to be defined. Stitching up panels with double layers of cotton jersey (a la Alabama Chanin)....
I am sure there are more but that is a good start!
I just began to subscribe to a great little podcast https://rss.wbur.org/kindworld/podcast
give yourself a treat and listen for a bit.
